Sad week

Well with the passing of Queen Elizabeth II the night after our celebrations. It was definitely a week of two halves. I was so happy on Wednesday evening and then this awful day unfolded on Thursday the day after. It was a funny one as obviously I didn’t know her, but you still feel this enormous sadness,  as she has been there all our lives no matter how old we are and it was like the foundations had moved in some way. Whatever happens the country will change now and there will be new beginnings. It’s been a roller coaster couple of years that’s for sure!
